Roger T. Muir is part of an elite national few who beat the odds and triumphed as an American boy growing up in a fatherless home, forcing him to learn the lessons of leadership and compassion that now make up his personal and professional character. Roger teaches that there are no accidents in life, but rather a series of events that force you to become either bitter or better. The difference is simply in where you choose to put yourself. He explains, "When I am in the right place, TRIALS become TRAILS".
Known for his high energy, quick wit, humor and his "let's make it happen" attitude, Roger is an involved father and successful entrepreneur. He maintains a passion for life with an unstoppable desire to help others who face challenges similar to his own. Originally from the small town of Durango, Colorado, Roger now resides in Taylorsville, Utah with his wife Deanna, along with their four sons, and now four purely perfect grandchildren.

These are the memories, stories and sacred spiritual experiences that I have kept protected in my heart and in my journals for over thirty-five years, but can no longer keep to myself. At a minimum, I feel a strong desire to ensure my children and grandchildren are aware of the life-changing mission experiences that shaped the man they knew me to be. As grown adults now, I hope my sons better understand the father that raised them.
On a higher level, I hope to preserve a small record of just some of the mighty miracles that took place on the streets of East Germany and in the homes of the faithful saints that protected and preserved the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in that land.

Like Father, Like Son? Just like the old man? A chip off the old block? Or maybe not. A real look at the missed moments and reminder of all that could still be. A chance to quiet the noise, stir the soul and heal the heart.

A fun exploration of choices and the impact of allowing yourself to intentionally choose happiness, safety, a better way. Learning to turn TRIALS into TRAILS.

Consistency, Stability, Loyalty. Where the efforts of doing it again & again, lead to the joy and prosperity of a gain and A GAIN !!
